Thinking about joining Cheshire Falcons Model Flying Club?
Thank you for your interest. We are always delighted to welcome new members to the Cheshire Falcons Model Flying Club, subject to there being vacancies.
Whether you are a seasoned and experienced modeller and flier or brand new to the hobby, you will be sure of a warm welcome.
We have a small team of instructors and are happy to guide a newcomer through the basic flying skills to BMFA certification of competence.
We would recommend that an inexperienced applicant discuss their ambitions and skills with one of our instructors before making that first investment in a model and radio control equipment. The easiest way to develop your skills is by use of a 'Buddy Lead System" and it is useful if your newly purchased equipment is compatible with the training systems in place.
Please note, however, that we fly from a grass strip, not a hard surface, and can only cater for fixed wing models, which are subject to strict size and noise limitations.
Membership Request
Whilst not actively looking for members, we do occasionally have some availability. The first step is to indicate your tentative interest by filling out the form.
Later, we will send you a Membership Enquiry Form, for return. Any information you provide will be collected and stored by the club only for the purposes of administrating your application and membership. If you become a member, then your contact details will be circulated to all club members. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.
Please note, that Junior Club members must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times when participating in club activities.
